The Rib-Eye is the king of marbling!  "Marbling" refers to the specks of fat inside the muscle that produces all the flavor in a cut of meat.  Even the fat on the edges of this steak is a treat!  A Rib-Eye cooked to perfection will be one of the most delicious meals you ever eat. 

Best prepared in the oven (also called Prime Rib) or on the grill.

 

To determine your steak's "doneness" you can insert a thermometer into the meat where it won't touch any bone or fat.  Cook until the steak reaches your desired temperature:  Medium Rare: 145; Medium Well: 160; Well Done: 170 degrees F.

For the best experience, let your steak "rest" for a few minutes after cooking.
