Feeding Hay to Improve Row Crop Ground

During a winter freeze, we feed our cattle hay bales on row crop fields to improve areas that are prone to erosion.

Feeding hay on crop ground helps us:

• Cover the ground to reduce erosion

• Add organic matter and nutrients for future crop use

• Add beneficial biology from cattle manure
